Inside Survivor lists Angelica 'Jelly' Loblack as a 29-year-old sociology professor from Bloomington, Indiana, on its reported Survivor 51 roster. CBS has not officially confirmed Loblack or any of the other names on that list.

Indiana University's Center for Research on Race & Ethnicity in Society identifies Loblack as a 2025–2027 postdoctoral scholar and visiting assistant professor of sociology. The university says she earned her sociology Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 2025 and studies how racial socialization and anti-Black racialization shape identity, embodiment and political engagement.
