No. 26 of the 38 recorded romantic pairs shared a Survivor season; 12 never played Survivor together. A shared season does not necessarily mean that is where a couple first met, because some entered the game as an existing pair.
What is the difference between a Survivor couple and a "loved one" pair?
A couple here means a romantic relationship: dating, engaged, or married. A "loved one" is a family connection, siblings, parent and child, or another relative, most commonly from the Blood vs. Water (Survivor 27) and San Juan del Sur (Survivor 29) seasons, which are built around pre-existing pairs.
