What happened between Amanda Kimmel and Ozzy Lusth?
Split after dating post-Micronesia. They met and began a showmance while competing together on Survivor: Micronesia.
Amanda Kimmel and Oscar “Ozzy” Lusth met as returning players on Survivor: Micronesia and developed one of the season’s central showmances. In an April 2008 interview, Ozzy said they were still dating after production. Looking back in a 2021 podcast interview, he said the relationship continued for roughly six to eight months, perhaps longer, before their personalities proved mismatched away from the game. He also acknowledged that he had a girlfriend at home during filming and said he told Amanda on their flight back before ending that earlier relationship. The firm relationship conclusion is that Amanda and Ozzy dated after Micronesia and split; retrospective recollections do not establish a precise public breakup date.
