Biography
Elisabeth Filarski was the plucky, positive footwear designer from Survivor: The Australian Outback (Season 2), where she finished fourth and became one of the season's most likable competitors. Her upbeat spirit and camp resilience made her a fan favorite during Survivor's ratings peak.
Her post-Survivor fame eclipsed even her time on the island: as Elisabeth Hasselbeck she became a longtime co-host of The View and later of Fox & Friends, one of the most prominent examples of a Survivor contestant parlaying the show into a mainstream television career.
Elisabeth remains a notable name from Survivor's early boom, both for her play in the Outback and for the broadcasting career it helped launch.
