Biography

Ami Cusack was the charismatic leader of the women's alliance on Survivor: Vanuatu (Season 9), a season built around a men-versus-women divide. Her strong, confident play and command of the dominant female bloc made her one of the central figures of that season before a late shift in the numbers sent her out in fifth place.

A barista from Colorado, Ami returned four seasons later for Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites (Season 16), earning her place among the show's "favorites" and reaffirming her status as one of the more memorable competitors of the mid-2000s.

Poised, athletic and quietly influential, Ami Cusack is remembered as a standout personality of Survivor's Vanuatu era, a two-time player whose leadership of the women's alliance left a lasting impression on one of the show's early gender-divided seasons.
