Biography

James Clement, a gravedigger from Louisiana, was one of Survivor's most physically dominant, and unluckiest, competitors. On Survivor: China (Season 15), he became infamous for being voted out while holding two hidden immunity idols, one of the most-discussed blunders in show history, despite being a challenge powerhouse and fan favorite.

He returned for Survivor: Micronesia (Season 16) and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains (Season 20), his affable personality and imposing strength making him a popular recurring player across three seasons.

Despite never winning, James Clement remains one of the most memorable competitors of Survivor's late-2000s run, the strongman whose two-idols exit became a cautionary tale for the ages.
