Biography
Colleen Haskell was the warm, self-deprecating student from Survivor: Borneo (Season 1) who became the breakout sweetheart of the show's debut. Finishing sixth, she was one of the most-liked members of the original cast, her easy humor and girl-next-door likability making her an instant fan favorite during the summer Survivor first swept America.
Unlike many of her castmates, Haskell largely stepped away from reality television afterward, appearing in the film The Animal before choosing a quieter life out of the spotlight, a rarity that only added to her mystique.
As one of the faces of the season that started it all, Colleen Haskell remains a nostalgic touchstone for longtime viewers, the "America's sweetheart" of Survivor's origin story.
