Biography

Tyson Apostol is one of Survivor's most quotable comedic personalities and, eventually, one of its champions. After sharp-tongued runs on Survivor: Tocantins (Season 18), where his snarky confessionals made him a fan favorite, and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains (Season 20), where a self-inflicted idol misplay sent him home, Tyson finally won on Survivor: Blood vs. Water (Season 27) with a well-rounded, strategically sharp game.

His Blood vs. Water title married his trademark humor with genuine control of the vote, silencing anyone who doubted his ability to close. He returned once more for Survivor: Winners at War (Season 40).

Funny, athletic and craftier than his jokester reputation suggested, Tyson Apostol is a four-time fan favorite whose long-awaited victory put him among the modern game's most memorable winners.
