Biography

Jeremy Collins won Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance (Season 31) with a masterful blend of strategy and heart, popularizing the now-famous "meat shield" strategy of keeping bigger threats around as cover. A Boston firefighter playing for his growing family, Jeremy controlled the game's endgame and delivered an emotional final Tribal Council that moved the jury to a decisive win.

After a strong debut on Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Season 29), his Second Chance victory established him as one of the era's most complete players. He returned for the all-winners Survivor: Winners at War (Season 40).

Strategically sound and genuinely well-liked, Jeremy Collins is remembered as one of the modern game's model champions, the firefighter whose meat-shield playbook is now standard Survivor vocabulary.

My mom because she helped raise seven children while my dad worked. I don't know how she didn't lose anyone and she fed and put clothes on our backs – not to mention the amount of laundry she had to do.

I always liked JT and James but I think Tyson (the third time he played) is similar to how I would have played.
Why they wanted to play
The million dollars but I also feel my personality, body type and mind set is perfect for this game.
